HOPE Market is a monthly pop-up market of creatives, crafters, artists, and purveyors. We aim to bring the community together each month in an effort to support creatives, artists, and small businesses all while experiencing free live music, art and educational programming.
Founded in 2009, as HOPE Farmers Market, with the goal of bringing community together each week in an effort to support farmers and small businesses, increase access to healthy food, and celebrate local culture in East Austin. More than just another pop-up market, HOPE FM was a weekly showcase and community meeting grounds, inviting Austinites to take part in a growing local food system while experiencing free live music, art, and educational programming.
In February 2020 the HOPE Farmers Market temporary closed to restructuring and reimagining. We are looking to expanding upon our rich history as a new market centered around the arts, music, and entrepreneurship.
The Market’s future home will be located at HOPE Outdoor Gallery, and will be comprised of shipping containers. Vendors will be able to pop-up for each weekly market at the art park or they will be able to secure a spot in one of the shipping continuers where they can store their goods from weekend to weekend.
